I know it has been a long time since I updated this damn site. Well, there is a reason. I haven't figured it out yet, but there is one. This is a stupid game we play - and we continue to play no matter how badly we get beat up each week, no matter how poorly your opponent plays, and no matter how much your bankroll is dwindling... stupid damn game. Our buddy from Connecticut comes down to show us how the big dogs play in Foxwoods. He takes down MNP for a record setting plus 1220! He is very pleased with himself, but quickly realizes that sometimes you should keep your excitement inside. He still hasn't found his car yet. Sam and Derwin play their game of who is gonna take who down. Sam has a major suckout on Derwin when it comes up as AA vs. KK and a king comes on the turn. Rusty and Greg have hit some hard times shipping so much money that they decide to sell Jason's car... wait - um, nevermind. Pete is the current Master Poker Player. He is so cool it makes me sick. Not to mention the fact that he has 100 duckets of mine from the last time I played. Did I mentioned the Caps have made the playoffs??? Woo Hoo!!! Let's Go Caps! I have nothing else to say.

Our group has been playing poker every Monday night since April, 1996. Poker night has become a religion to the "regulars" who would rather have their wives and/or girlfriends upset with them than miss a week. It's a chance to hang out with the boys, smoke smelly-assed cigars (or other tobacco-filled items), drink crappy beer, eat fattening food, bullshit with friends, and watch whatever testosterone producing manly sport comes on the TV during the six hours that the game goes on... and sometimes even win a few duckets.
