When and Where. Each game is scheduled for Monday evening starting at 7pm and usually ending aroung 1am, depending on how well or poorly the night is going. There are times when "emergency" or "special edition" games are called during the week to satisfy someone's insatiable urge to gamble. Maverick Tournaments are scheduled on a [normally] bi-monthly timeframe. But, most importantly, is the Grand Master Poker Player Quarterly Tournament. Each quarter one player is awarded the prestigious GMPP cup with their name enscribed on it... see the rules here. Money. The standard buy-in is 20 duckets, with red chips being .25 of one ducket, white chips being .50 of a ducket, and black chips are 1.00 ducket. As people lose their asses throughout the night, they are encouraged/coerced to buy-in for more of our lovely duckets. The maximum bet is 1.00 ducket per round, which can be raised by each following bidder on the table by 1.00 ducket. For example, if the first person bets 1.00 ducket and each person at a table of five raised the bet by the maximum 1.00 ducket, that round of betting will be 5.00 duckets. However, if you are the high hand and you check to the next person, you cannot raise again when the bet returns to you. If at any time a pot reaches the amount of 300.00 duckets, the pot is split between everyone at the table (who has not folded) immediately. Understand? House Rules. The house rules are as follows. These rules can be changed by the dealer, but must be done before the hand is delt! card decides if they want it; if it is to the dealer, he must keep it. the pot, and you can go over. Games.
